Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting
with the officials of the Endowment and Charity Affairs Organization
termed endowment as a blessed act.
Pointing to the status of endowment in Islam and Godly religions,
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the culture of endowment should be boosted.
The IR Leader referred to various endowed properties in the country and
advised the relevant authorities to follow the endower's wishes in making
use of the properties, adding that the culture of endowment will be
further boosted if they act so.
Ayatollah Khamenei then touched on numerous violations of endowment law
by officials of the Pahlavi regime and said that a significant policy of
the Islamic system was to revive Islamic traditions of endowment

People of East Azarbaijan

Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met
this morning with thousands of revolutionary and faithful people of East
Azarbaijan. Speaking at the meeting, the Supreme Leader described
vigilance, deep understanding of the importance of events and situations,
and appropriate and courageous actions as the great lessons that Arba'een
holds for all people. He further added: "The Iranian nation understands
the current critical situation and is extremely vigilant against the
enemies who try to take Islamic values and the revolutionary spirit away
from the Islamic Republic."
31 years ago, on February 18, the people of Tabriz staged an uprising
to commemorate those who were martyred in Qom 40 days earlier. Ayatollah
Khamenei stressed that the event played a determining role in the Islamic
Revolution. He said that the event generated the motivation to protest and
be vigilant.
His Eminence said that vigilance, deep understanding of the situation,
risk-taking, faith, and optimism were the lessons taught by the uprising.
"These important lessons hold the key to the present and future success of
the Iranian nation."
Ayatollah Khamenei touched upon the current stance and goals of the
enemies of the Iranian nation and said that they have failed to destroy
the Islamic Republic. He added: "The arrogant powers have used all their
political, economic, and military means in the past 30 years in order to
destroy the Islamic Revolution. But they have come to the conclusion that
the unswerving support of the people of Iran [for the Islamic Republic]
and reliance of the Islamic Republic on the strong faith of the Iranian
nation has made it impossible to destroy the Islamic Republic. As a result,
they are trying to divest the Islamic Republic of its religious and
anti-arrogance qualities. They are trying to destroy the revolutionary
spirit of the Islamic Republic. Considering these realities, it is
essential for the public and government officials to be vigilant."
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution expressed his gratitude to
the people for their impressive demonstrations on February 9 this year. He
described these demonstrations as a manifestation of the Iranian nation's
wholehearted support for the Islamic Revolution. He further reiterated: "Scientific
advances, vigilant and enthusiastic presence of the youth in different
arenas, and revival of the revolutionary slogans are other obvious
manifestations of the enemies' failure to defeat the Islamic Revolution.
Besides, none of the government officials feel embarrassed to repeat these
slogans. On the contrary, they feel proud of them."
His Eminence referred to cultural invasion on the part of the arrogance
camp as one of the signs of their efforts to take Islamic values away from
the Islamic Republic. "Thorough understanding of this issue and defending
the Islamic and revolutionary values are the duties that lie on our
shoulders. Thankfully, our people are present on the scene and enjoy
vigilance, deep understanding, and praiseworthy critical thinking
abilities," he added.
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that Allah's
assistance for faithful and active people is a divine promise that will
never be broken, further reiterating: "Thanks to its deep faith, the
Iranian nation is still treading the path of the Revolution with the same
original enthusiasm and slogans. The young generation appreciates the
current situation and is more experienced than the early revolutionary
youth. They have combined enthusiasm with thought and insight and their
presence in various arenas is praiseworthy. We must appreciate this divine
blessing."

Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Ramadan
Abdullah and his accompanying delegation met with the Islamic Revolution
Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei. In the meeting he delivered a report
about the Gaza war and its developments.
Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated the Palestinian delegation on the
victory of Gaza people and Islamic Resistance in the 22-day war against
the Zionist regime and underlined that what was happened in the Gaza Strip
was a miracle.
The IR Leader said that the victory in Gaza was got through God's favor
and assistance, adding," The Gaza developments took place occurred under
the auspices of God's power. They were materialized by the belief, firm
resolve and Jihad of the resistance forces."
Ayatollah Khamenei said the people of Gaza got through the test
successfully and their authorities produced a good performance by their
united and firm stances.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the role of the world public opinion
over the Gaza developments and said," One of the great victories of the
Islamic resistance was that it attracted the world public opinion in a way
that the enemy failed to remove the name of Palestine from the scene or
present Palestinian as aggressor."
The IR Leader urged the delegation to keep continuous relations with
the Gaza public opinion, adding," Since the end of Gaza war the enemy has
been trying to affect the public opinion in Gaza through psychological and
propaganda war and present the Islamic resistance as responsible for the
sufferings of people. You should foil this plot."
Ayatollah Khamenei said the Zionist regime was declining, adding that
America and Europe created the Zionist regime as a means for them to
dominate the Middle East however, 60 years after its creation, it has
reached such a degenerated position that the West has to deploy warships
off its coats to protect the regime.
The IR Leader named religion and Islam as the main factors behind the
victories and successes of the Palestinian people. "The Gaza war and the
related developments acted as a separator and helped distinguish truth and
falsehood," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Ayatollah Khamenei underlined that by adopting a firm stance in the
diplomatic arena, the military victory of Gaza would be consolidated,
adding the Palestinians must rely on their own power and make the enemy to
surrender in the diplomatic scene as they did in the military scene.
The IR Leader hoped for full liberation of Palestine and said," Now the
signs of the Divine promise have been revealed. Our definite belief is
that if the path is kept the final victory would be at hand in the near
future."
Ramadan Abdullah for his part thanked the Islamic Revolution Leader and
the Iranian nation on behalf of the Palestinian nation and the resistance
forces, adding that the victory in the Gaza war was indeed the victory of
the Palestinian nation as well.
"The Zionist enemy could not reach its goals despite making all
considerations it made about its weak points during the 33-day Lebanese
war," Abdullah noted, adding the only accomplishment of the regime in the
war was bloodshed of women and children.
"The victory in the Gaza war proved that the Zionist regime is no
longer the regime which defeated Arab armies in the six-day war. The era
of decline of the Zionist regime has begun," he added.
"The Zionist enemy and its supporters perceived the Gaza as the weakest
loop of the Islamic resistance in the region however the defeat of the
regime in the war was a strategic change which heralds final victory in
Palestine," Abdullah added.
The Islamic Jihad's Secretary General said faith and Jihad was the main
source of ability for the resistance forces, adding that the resistance
groups in a united stance will try to make the enemy to backtrack from its
position in the diplomatic scene

Bureau Chief Khaled Mashaal met with Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah
Sayyed Ali Khamenei Sunday and delivered a full report on the Gaza's
22-day war won by the Islamic Resistance as well as the war-related
political developments.
Ayatollah Khamenei offered congratulations on the victory of Islamic
Resistance over the Zionist enemy in the Gaza war and said "the Gaza
people and the Islamic Resistance conferred honor on all of us and got
through the great, demanding test by their perseverance.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the landmark victory of the Gaza people against
the Zionist regime's army was a tribute to their faith.
Ayatollah Khamenei appreciated the perseverance of the Mujahid brother
Ismail Haniya, Premier of the Palestinian government and prayed God to
make the victory a prelude to further victories in future under the
auspices of the Palestinian faith and jihad.
The Islamic Revolution Leader noted that the Gaza war was not over
adding that diplomatic and propaganda warfare was still on. "The Islamic
Resistance must keep full preparedness for any sort of probabilities
including a resumption of war," Ayatollah Khamenei alerted.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the enemy was seeking to realize through the
diplomatic warfare the goals it failed to reach in the military scene,
adding that the same spirit of resistance shown in military scene must
also be accorded in the diplomatic arena.
The Islamic Revolution Leader then underlined necessity of fast track
efforts for the reconstruction of Gaza, adding that the Islamic Republic
of Iran was ready to assist Gaza in that regard.
Ayatollah Khamenei then touched on enemy propaganda warfare to reverse
realities of the Gaza events and present Hamas and Islamic resistance as
responsible for the sufferings of the Gaza people. He deplored that
certain Arab governments neighboring Gaza were adding fuel to the fire.
Ayatollah Khamenei then noted that the only option to counter the
adversary propaganda was to expressly state the rightful stance of the
Islamic Resistance and the Palestinian people so that the enemy efforts
are fended off.
In the same note, Ayatollah Khamenei urged Hamas and Islamic resistance
to put claims to the Arab media in covering their rightful stance.
Ayatollah Khamenei then put emphasis on the necessity of prosecution of
Zionist regime's leaders on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza and
called for a serious drive in this regard.
The IR Leader noted that the after-war efforts were a sequel to jihad
in Gaza, adding that the efforts must be followed unreservedly and that
that Divine assistance would follow such an unreserved drive.
Ayatollah Khamenei then commemorated the memory of Gaza martyrs
including Saeed Siyam, the minister of the interior in the Palestinian
government. He prayed God to bestow award and patience on the families of
martyrs, especially the families whose innocent children were martyred
during the war.
In the meeting, Khaled Mashaal, delivered a full report on the military
and political developments related to the Gaza war and noted that the
Islamic Republic of Iran stood the foremost source of help to the Gaza
people.
"On behalf of the Gaza people and the Islamic Resistance, I appreciate
the diplomatic and spiritual supports accorded by you and the great and
honored Iranian nation," the Hamas Political Bureau Chief told Ayatollah
Khamenei, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran largely assisted the
victory of the Gaza people.
The senior Hamas official said the victory of Gaza people over the
Zionist enemy was a Divine miracle, adding that in the hard times of war
the Gaza people kept saying the Koranic verse "Allah is sufficient for us;
an excellent Guardian is He" in their perseverance until God bestowed
victory to the faithful and resistant people.
Khaled Mashaal expressed hope the Gaza victory would become a prelude
to the full liberation of Palestine and the Holy Qods.
Mashaal further noted that the Zionist regime failed to impose its
favored conditions on Hamas during wartime and therefore declared
unconditional ceasefire and withdrew from Gaza, adding that a diplomatic
warfare to break the siege of Gaza and open the crossings into the
territory had begun by Hamas.
"Despite all pressures and psychological warfare of the Zionist enemy,
the Palestinian government and the Islamic Resistance has not bowed and
will not bow to any of the enemy conditions including commitment to a 2005
agreement regarding the Rafah crossing or permanent truce," he said.
The Hamas Political bureau Chief said the Gaza reconstruction was the
absolute priority for the Palestinian government, adding that the
government would launch the reconstruction efforts by any means possible
and would not allow the adversary efforts of America and Zionist regime to
frustrate the people in Gaza.
Khaled Mashaal appreciated the IRI efforts in staging an international
conference on Gaza reconstruction.
"The strategic line of policy of the Islamic Resistance and the
Palestinain groups is to keep resistance and jihad against the Zionist
enemy. They would never relinquish the objective even for a moment," he
vowed.
The meeting also saw some report about the internal situation of Gaza,
the resistant spirit of people in the territory as well as the Divine
favors and assistance witnessed by people during the wartime and
afterwards.
