Ninth Administration has bred hope in heart of nations

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei Sunday evening received President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Administration and praised it for featuring such traits as pursuing justice, serving people, working hard, being unequivocal, following an innovative approach and persevering against the overriding whims of the world arrogance.

"Serving to the masses is a great moral achievement to live up to which more efforts must be made," Ayatollah Khamenei told the cabinet members in a week which has been named after the Administration in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei offered congratulations to the cabinet members over the holy month of Sha'ban especially its enshrined birthday of the Last Savior, Hazrat Mahdi (may Allah expedite his reappearance), adding that hope and justice make the hallmarks of the birthday which have occurred mid-month.

Ayatollah Khamenei lauded the cabinet over its efforts to help materialize the aspirations inspired by the landmark day, adding that the human community keeps thirst for justice and hope.

"The Ninth Administration has bred hope in the heart of the nations by hoisting the flag of justice. This would pervade meaning and appeal in the concurrence of the Administration Week and Sha'ban birthday feasts," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Ayatollah Khamenei commemorated the memory of the assassinated statesmen Mohammad-Ali Rajai and Mohammad-Javad Bahonar, adding that the two personalities were pursuing the aspirations of the landmark events which are hope and justice and thereby the Administration Week must be marked in their commemoration.

Ayatollah Khamenei reminded the cabinet that with two years elapsed since the Ninth Administration took office they must take the lesson that opportunities to serve the people are passing away.

"Try not to lose any moment to make effort in the path of God and serve people," the IR Leader recommended.

Ayatollah Khamenei described the Administration's adherence to merits and principles of the Islamic Revolution as unprecedented in the modern world political history, adding that the global domineering powers refuse to cease grudge towards the Islamic System due to the same reason.

"At times the revolutionary principles were covered with the dust of disregard. Nevertheless, the Ninth Administration is currently pursuing them by word and deed more seriously than ever before so that the revolutionary aspirations and Imam Khomeini's thoughts are currently running the social ambience," Ayatollah Khamenei added.

Ayatollah Khamenei then turned to justice as another eminent feature of the Ninth Administration, adding that the rough path of justice would never bear fruits in the short run nevertheless any step the Administration takes in this path is of great value and must continue with utmost power.

Ayatollah Khamenei lauded the Ninth Administration for its firm treatment of matters, notably in the implementation of the home-spun fuel consumption initiative, adding that the fuel consumption management constitutes a first step to render subsidies objective-oriented.

Ayatollah Khamenei also praised the cabinet for adopting an innovative approach towards the affairs and said that genuine reforms emerge from substantial, structural changes in the right manner.

Concerning the Ninth Administration's anti-arrogance diplomacy, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that in the present world where international relations are only checked by the logic of power any sort of diplomatic climb down would prove debilitative.

"Taking the point, the Ninth Administration has stood up to the vainglorious demanders and in so doing it could bring dignity to the nation," the IR Leader said.

Ayatollah Khamenei also praised the Administration for tackling affairs and problems of every provincial region in the country after touring the same area, noting a stark difference between tackling the demands and requirements of the people on paper and in a face-to-face discussion.

Ayatollah Khamenei recommended the cabinet members to live up to the achievements and avoid trap of vanity.

Ayatollah Khamenei also have some administrative advices for the cabinet members. In his first advice, Ayatollah Khamenei placed a premium on the national 20-Year Vision plan.

"The Vision plan as a national macro plan for twenty years is an ultra-administrative document which has been born through intensive expert work and so must be considered as a charter in every law making or planning," the IR Leader said, adding that any plan or decision which veers off the document must be checked.

Ayatollah Khamenei urged the cabinet to boost expert work in tackling national projects and called it necessary if the projects are wished to endure developments. In the same regard, Ayatollah Khamenei urged the cabinet members to infuse elite expertise into their planning.

"There are many elites in the university and other circles across the country who are keen to assist," Ayatollah Khamenei said, urging the cabinet to make more invites to those elites.

Ayatollah Khamenei viewed inter-government relationship as good, adding however that the three branches of power must enhance the spirit of harmony and logical interaction within their own corps.

The Islamic Revolution Leader in another recommendation to the Administration urged it to furnish precise information to the people.

In this regard, Ayatollah Khamenei touched on the delicacies of information, noting that many are in dark over the Administration's records and activities.

The IR Leader as remedy urged the cabinet to supply necessary information to the media, notably the national airwaves so they furnish the public in a delicate manner.

"This proves encouraging and motivates people for more assistance," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Ayatollah Khamenei also put a premium on cultural affairs, saying, "Culture proves vital for human being like air as many social problems can be handled by employing cultural strategies."

The next in order of the IR Leader's recommendations for the Ahmadinejad Administration carried an emphasis for the micro policies stipulated under the article 44 of the Constitution.

Ayatollah Khamenei concluded by urging the cabinet members to boost their connection to God and take the spiritual blessing of the holy month of Sha'ban.

IR Leader receives IRI diplomatic corps

The Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that the main goal of the country's diplomacy is securing national interests.

The Islamic Revolution Leader made the remarks at the gathering of officials of the Foreign Ministry and Iranian ambassadors in foreign countries.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran's policy is based on rejecting arrogance as well as viligant and wise opposition to the world arrogance," the Islamic Revolution Leader said.

"The experiences of the last three decades proves the victory of Iranian nation in this challenge," he added.

"Establishment and continuation of the Foreign Ministry's activities with reliance on the Revolution's forces are among the very main and positive characteristics of the ministry," the Islamic Revolution Leader said.

Pointing to the big challenges of the foreign policy, the Islamic Revolution Leader said that the Foreign Ministry should perform in framework of materialization of the Islamic Revolutions' long-term purposes as well as the goals of 20-year vision plan.

Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that the principles of the Islamic Revolution can not be separated from the national interests and national identity, adding that "the main issues in foreign policy should be evaluated and discussed on this view."

Pointing to Islam's program for the all-out prosperity of the mankind, the Islamic Revolution Leader added "the Islamic Revolution in Iran has been established to materialize the political, economic, social and cultural programs of Islam."

"In the world relations arena, the Islamic Revolution rejects the arrogant system and follows peace, security and prosperity for all nations," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

"Because of this, the world arrogance system naturally is challenging the Islamic system and we should never forget this reality," he reiterated.

"We never accept behavior of the arrogant system. Our diplomacy is based on opposition to the behavior of this system," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

The Islamic Revolution Leader said that the victory of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement, Hezbollah during the 33-day resistance against the Zionist regime is a sign of the great Islamic power and surprising lessons.

Pointing to the Zionist regime's critical condition, Ayatollah Khamenei added that America's failure in its regional plots, including in Iraq, Lebanon and Afghanistan as well as its strategic deadlock in the Mideast are among other bright experiences that shows if the Iranian nation and officials keep their faith and hope, can achieve against the world arrogant system

US Aiming for Global Dictatorship

TEHRAN, Aug. 21 (Iran Daily) -Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday the US aims to establish a global dictatorship.

In a meeting with Foreign Ministry officials and Iranian ambassadors, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the US has revolted against the international community by ignoring the rights of nations.

Stating that securing the national interests is the main goal of Iran’s diplomacy, the leader said, “The important feature of Iran’s foreign policy is its confrontation with the world arrogant powers in a rational and smart manner.“

He pointed out that the experience of the past three decades indicates the victory of Iranian nation in fighting the arrogant world powers.

“We take pride in confronting the arrogant world powers and supporting the oppressed people,“ he said.

Commenting on the performance of the Foreign Ministry, Ayatollah Khamenei said the ministry should uphold national interests and materialize the long-term objectives of the Islamic Revolution and mid-term goals of the 2025 Vision.

Noting that the principles of Islamic Revolution cannot be separated from national identity and interests, the leader opined that important foreign policy issues should be dealt with from this perspective.

Referring to Islam’s comprehensive plan for the prosperity of mankind, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the 1979 Islamic Revolution aimed to implement political, economic, social and cultural programs of Islam.

“At an international level, the Islamic Revolution rejects foreign domination and pursues peace, security and prosperity of all humans by relying on Islamic teachings,“ he said, pointing out that for the same reason the arrogant world powers are challenging Iran’s Islamic System.

The leader further said that the victory of Lebanon’s Hezbollah in the 33-day war against the Zionist Israeli regime shows the capability of Muslims in fighting the arrogant world powers.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the deadlock faced by the US in its Middle East strategy is a clear example of how Iranians and officials can succeed in their campaign against world arrogant powers.

IR Leader appoints new navy chief

The Islamic Revolution Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei in a decree on Monday appointed Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari as Commander of the Islamic Republic Army's Navy.

"Per a proposal from General Commander of the Islamic Republic Army and given your good record, I hereby appoint you as Commander of the Islamic Republic Army's Navy. I expect that combat readiness and capabilities of the naval force, which showed remarkable progress during and after the Sacred Defense era would further increase," read the decree.

Ayatollah Khamenei also thanked Rear Admiral Sajjad Kouchaki for his efforts and services during his tenure as Commander of the Islamic Republic Army's Navy and wished him all success

Force of right will eventually win

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with the guests and organizers of the fourth meeting of the World Assembly of Ahl-ul Beit (The Household of Hazrat Mohammad, greetings to them) Sunday pointed out that the assembly is primarily commissioned to disseminate genuine Islamic teachings by an immaculate presentation of the thoughts of The Household and singling out of the needs and requirements of the world of Islam.

Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the ever-growing ebullience and awakening of the Muslims and said that the force of right will eventually win the battle with the force of falsehood, whose current time incarnate is the tier of world arrogant powers.

Ayatollah Khamenei renewed alert about the old and perilous conspiracy of making divide among Islamic denominations and called Britain the veteran conspirator in this regard, noting that at present more conspirators have joined the country to divide the Muslim people.

"Unity of Muslims and formation of a united Islamic ummah prove a source of massive threat and concern for the covetous arrogant powers thereby besides Britain, the intelligence bodies of America and Zionists are exhausting every means to stymie the unity of Muslims," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Ayatollah Khamenei reminded the expansion of fine Islamic platform following the Islamic Revolution in Iran and called it another source of concern for the force of arrogance.

The IR Leader pointed out that another source of concern for the arrogant powers rests in the expansion of such version of Islam from Iran which promotes independence, dignity and jihad while countering alien dominance.

"Hence the enemies urgently seek to stir difference between Iran and other Islamic countries," Ayatollah Khamenei concluded.

Ayatollah Khamenei then touched on the ongoing broad propaganda against the Islamic system as well as against the thoughts of The Household, adding that despite all these propagandas, the platform of Iran's Islamic Revolution has stretched to every spot in the world of Islam so that the scales of Muslim awakening in the past twenty years never match those of the current time.

Ayatollah Khamenei also made a similar distinction regarding the scale of achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in recent time, adding that at the other end of the scale America has been through a weakening trend so that it no longer enjoys its previous grandeur and power.

"Moreover, America and its acolytes are presently in throes of mires and plunge more as time elapses so that a menace-laden future waits for them," the Islamic Revolution Leader said.

Ayatollah Khamenei urged Muslims to take the realities and at the same time avoid complacency, adding that the evidence and realities on the ground point to the fact that under the natural trend of the Divine Rules, the force of falsehood, masterminded by America will indeed concede defeat in its current battle with the force of right and Islamic awakening.

The IR Leader noted that the conferment of Divine Blessing and Assistance on the faithful is subject to their effort and diligence, adding that all Muslims must took responsibility and make untiring effort to enhance their relationship and unity.

Ayatollah Khamenei touched on some narrow-minded ill wills towards the followers of The Household, greetings to them, and assigned the assembly to undertake an embracing effort to satisfy the needs of the world of Islam to true Islamic teachings.

"The call of the followers of The Household is unity, dignity and sagacious life," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

"True Islamic teachings, manifested in the thoughts of The Household actually call for spirituality minus seclusion plus politics, mysticism coupled with social activities as well as self-humility towards God coupled with jihad. Today, the whole world thirsts for such an approach towards spirituality," the IR Leader added.

Sunday marked the birth anniversary of the sixth member of The Household, Imam Sajjad (PBUH) whose landmark supplications to God have gathered in a book titled Sahifeh Sajjadieh.

Ayatollah Khamenei called the book an abstract of the thoughts of The Household.

"Sahifeh Sajjadieh is the book of mystic and sagacious life," Ayatollah Khamenei stated.

Ayatollah Khamenei called on the followers of The Household to delve into their immaculate thoughts and prevent superstitions and fakeries from mingling with them.

"A primary mission now is to safeguard the Islamic teachings against superstitions. To that effect, the Alims and elites must block the way to superstitions by making awareness about the true thoughts of The Household," Ayatollah Khamenei urged

Humanity in dire need of Islamic teachings

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei Saturday morning extended congratulations to the Iranian nation, the great Islamic ummah and the human community over the auspicious anniversary of the Divine Assignment of the Last messenger of Allah Hazrat Mohammad, greetings to him.

Ayatollah Khamenei invoked the spiritual attachment of the entire Muslim community to the Last Messenger and called for the Islamic ummah to get united around the axis of the Messenger of Compassion and block the way to the divisive ploys of the enemies of Islam.

In the meeting, also attended by ambassadors of the Islamic countries in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei outlined the eminent points of the Last Divine Mission as knowledge, edification of soul and fair attitude.

The IR Leader pointed to the ordeals befallen on the human community and said that the man at present lives in the direst need to the teachings of the Divine Messengers and that all these teachings have gathered in Islam and the Koran.

The IR Leader deplored that the human community lags in spiritual knowledge. Ayatollah Khamenei attributed the woes of the present world to the fact that the human runs afar ethical values.

"All nations, especially their authorities and elites direly constitute an audience of the Islamic invite to spiritual edification, affection and fair attitude," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Ayatollah Khamenei viewed establishment of justice as the ever-present need of human being for which the Divine Messengers have been commissioned.

In the same regard, Ayatollah Khamenei touched on the establishment of Islamic community in Iran and said that the three eminent points outlined above form the platform of the Iranian nation, urging the people and authorities to strive more than ever to realize the goal.

Ayatollah Khamenei acclaimed the platform as conducive to taste any achievement following the Islamic revolution 28 years ago.

"Any move to quit the Islamic platform which can follow an entrapment in different reservations or being dazzled by the current material schools of thought will indeed translate into a setback," the IR Leader cautioned.

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the human community suffers two major ordeals, first, a disguised path presented as the way of salvation and second, the rule of the most corrupt persons in the world over the global affairs.

"Today the most corrupt persons have kept up the flag of reforms in the world. The wicked and arrogant America which peruses to impose its totalitarian rule over the entire human community, accuses Islam of terrorism and fanaticism while itself produces oppression towards the Islamic nations and exports terror, corruption and bloodshed," the IR Leader added.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that the remedy to the ordeals and ailments of the Islamic nations rests in their return to Islamic identity and an occurrence of inspirational sedulity on the part of the Muslim authorities.

"The Islamic umamh cherishes the blessed existence of the Koran and the illuminant Islamic statute. It can stand against any destructive waves under the auspices of the teachings of the Last Messenger," the IR Leader noted.

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed regret about the anguishes and ordeals of the Muslims in Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan.

"The Muslim world today suffers wounds. Those corrupts who feel enmity towards the very existence of the Islamic ummah are bent on to pit different portions of the Islamic world against each other through provocation and stir of sectarian differences, presented in such dichotomies as Shii-Sunni or Arab-non-Arab," Ayatollah Khamenei warned.

The Islamic Revolution Leader called unity and harmony as the genuine need of the Islamic ummah.
