Leader blasts US slaughter in Iraq
Tehran, Nov 18 - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah
Seyed Ali Khamenei on Thursday urged all Muslim and Arab nations,
governments, circles and elites to fulfill their tasks regarding the
critical situation in the Iraqi city of Falluja.
In a message to world Muslims, the Supreme Leader said the current
critical situation in Iraq makes any Muslim or any human being, enjoying
human sentiments, concerned.
The massacre of thousands of children, women and civilians, execution
of wounded people, arrest of innocent civilians, destroying houses and
mosques, and violation of families' sanctity in Falluja take away sleep
from eyes and comfort from hearts, the message said. Now, after Falluja,
there is the fear of repetition of the catastrophe in Mosul, Samarra,
Baquba and other Iraqi cities, Ayatollah Khamenei said, stressing that all
these crimes are being committed by the occupiers under the pretext of
presence of a group of terrorists among the Iraqi people.
"Does the presence of terrorists among people, if such a claim, which
is seriously doubtful, proves correct, give permission for killing
innocent people, leaving wounded people without medicine, and abandoning
children without food and water?" The Supreme Leader asked."How can those
who consider nullification of execution verdicts for criminals as their
own glories watch, in cold blood, mass execution of innocent people?" The
message further questioned. How can Muslim and Arab governments remain
indifferent observers, the Supreme Leader said, stressing that the call
for help of the helpless people can be heard from the Iraqi territories.
Ayatollah Khamenei further urged governments and nations to at least
shout in protest against such a big oppression being imposed by the
arrogant powers on a group of oppressed Muslims.

magnificent nationwide rallies on the World Day of Quds. Hinting at the
daily crimes being committed by Zionists against oppressed Palestinians

that these brutal acts are signs of an undeclared war that the global
arrogance has waged against Islam.
However, the Leader pointed out, "U.S. politicians, who are the main
enemies of Muslims, will face strong resistance wherever they act against
Islam."
In conclusion, Ayatollah Khamenei cited adherence to Islam and

Leader : US intrigues against Iran's nuclear
projects irrational
Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA -- Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution and Friday
prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the main reason
behind US irrational hue and cry over Iran's nuclear projects is Iran's
advancement despite all sanctions, plots, and enmities. Addressing
hundreds of thousands of fasting worshipers on the sad martyrdom
anniversary of the first infallible imam from Prophet Muhammad's household,
Imam Ali (PBUH), Ayatollah Khamenei also criticized other (EU) countries'
for following the irrational US-led campaign against Iran's peaceful
nuclear project. The leader added, "All the same, The Iranian nation, and
the Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on God's grace and their own
strength, would keep on paving their bright bath dynamically and full of
hope for a brighter future."
The Supreme Leader attributed the "global hegemony circles' policy
making" to "the interests of international cartels and trusts". He added,
"The political and economic cores of global arrogance are ready to give
certain technological concessions to nations under their own hegemony, on
condition that they would not break the ties of dependence, but when the
Iranian nation and government stress the need to preserve their national
independence they raise hell." The leader said "Young Iranian scientists'
success in making nuclear fuel production quite indigenous in Iran, that
is today among the 10 world countries that has access to that highly
important technology, has outraged the Americans and other enemies of the
Islamic Republic of Iran." Ayatollah Khamenei added, "The Islamic Republic
of Iran has in addition to achieving attractive and innovative industrial
goals, achieving spectacular infrastructure objectives, and presenting a
practical model of Islamic culture to the enthusiastic nations' willing
hearts, advanced noticeably in numerous other fields, and that is why the
enemies try to conceal those achievements by accusing Iran of trying to
produce nuclear bombs."
Further defining Iran's strategy regarding nuclear weapons, the supreme
leader of Islamic Revolution reiterated, "As we have often said, and even
announced our jurisdiction decree on the issue, we are not after
manufacturing, stock piling, or taking practical advantage of any type of
nuclear weapons, strongly believing that a solid and strong nation and
government relying on such a huge pious youth power is basically needless
of nuclear weapons." Advising the Iranian nation and concerned officials
to be fully alert, Ayatollah Khamenei said, "Enemies intend to disturb our
national solidarity and political integrity chanting such slogans as dual
governance at top political level, or the presence of disputes among top
leaders of the system, but I assure you that the heads of the country's
three branches of government have shared views on sensitive issues, which
furthermore infuriates our enemies."
The supreme leader referred to the International Qods Day next Friday,
expressing hope that God willing both the Iranian nation and the other
Muslim nations would have a broad presence at the scene on that day in
defense of the oppressed Palestinian nation."
He referred to "Daily atrocious crimes committed by Zionists in
occupied Palestine, the patience and exemplary resistance of the
Palestinians that is praiseworthy, and the deadly and wretched silence of
the Islamic countries, Europeans and international bodies" as the three
significant and unforgettable factors of the current Middle East crisis.
