Ali Khamenei said here on Tuesday that dear and faithful Iranian nation will
stand all threats and ward off all ambitious aggressors, who would have the
temptation to knock on their borders. Ayatollah Khamenei in an address to tens
of thousand people said justice is the prime need of Iranian society today and
senior Iranian officials should think on administration of justice to meet real
needs of the masses. The Leader made the remark in an address on the occasion of

12th infallible Imam of Prophet Mohammad's (SAWA) infallible Household. The Imam

worldwide upon his re-appearance. The Supreme Leader advised officials to launch
strong campaign against corruption in the state- an non-state-run institutions.

implicit purchase of the votes and through winning popularity through misleading
publicity. The leader said there is no room for any deception or fraud to win
public votes or for power abuse to earn money in an Islamic system and the acts
are branded as a big sin. Ayatollah Khamenei said Islamic system of Iran does
not at all claim being standard bearer of the government favored by Islam but
one can detect signs of such a government in such a system. "Due to the
same reason, centers of power, officials and directors of Islamic establishment
should consider accumulation of personal wealth and fortune as a sin and try
hard not to commit it," said the Leader. Ayatollah Khamenei said the cause
for full establishment of justice, removal of tyrannical systems worldwide,
strong campaign against enemies of monotheism and mankind, full preparedness for

belief in appearance of the Imam. BG/AR End

4:52:51 PM (IRIB) Tehran, Oct 5 - Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei here
Saturday hit out at US' anti-Islamic stance and bullying, specially in
Afghanistan, Palestine and Iraq, saying it revealed the true face of the West's
liberal democracy. "American steps in massacring Afghan people and its
recent propaganda ballyhoo to attack Iraq and create another tragedy for the
Iraqi people is the tangible result of the West's liberal democracy," he
told state officials on the anniversary of Be'that or God's proclamation of
Muhammad (PBUH) as his Prophet. "America's blanket support for the
occupying Zionist Regime and its reticence in the face of massacre of the
Palestinian people as well as its pressure on Islamic countries to recognize
this oppressive regime and America's brazen move on Al-Aqsa mosque recently are
blatant examples of the West's liberal democracy," he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei added that the world's situation today was very much like
the dark age of the Arabian peninsula before Prophet Mohammad's Bet'hat in view
of the "world bullies' efforts to portray their actions as right."
"Under such conditions, some weak people call to succumb to Imperialist
powers since they think it is impossible to change the bitter realities which
these powers have created. "The message of Bet'hat, however, is to tackle
obstacles and stand against bullying of the Imperialists," the Leader added.
Islamic nations, specially the Iranian people, are bravely prepared for any
self-sacrifice, Ayatollah Khamenei said. "Now it is the turn of the state
officials to show how much they have understood the message of Be'that since
this requires to rid oneself of all whims and caprice," he added. President
Mohammad Khatami addressed the audience before Ayatollah Khamenei and
felicitated him as well as the Iranian nation and the Islamic world on the
auspicious occasion. "The sources of all corruption, poverty,
totalitarianism and oppression in the world today lie in the fact that human
beings have been deprived of listening to God's call," the Iranian
president said.
